Last week's Dandenong District Cricket Association matches were called off due to rain, leaving all teams eager to return this Saturday. Springvale South was the big winner, having played its round five match against Dandenong West the week prior on Sunday, winning by 82 runs; the Bloods were the only team to have won in round five. Cam Forsyth and his team have started with a 4-1 record, only falling short against Berwick. Two-day matches return this weekend, headlined by a grand final rematch between Hallam Kalora Park and Buckley Ridges at Hallam Recreation Reserve. Buckley Ridges are yet to lose, having beaten Beaconsfield, Dandenong West and Parkmore. Hallam Kalora Park beat Narre South in their most recent game after being bowled out for 86 by Springvale South in the opener. Berwick hosts Dandenong West at Arch Brown Recreation Reserve, Springvale South hosts Beaconsfield at Alex Nelson Reserve, and Parkmore or Narre South will seek their first 2025/26 win at Strathaird Recreation Reserve.
